FROM WILD TO MILD
The Power of Flu Vaccination

PREVENTION: The flu vaccine is the most effective way to prevent the flu and its complications. It can lower the risk of getting the flu and having serious illness from it.
REDUCED RISK OF HOSPITIZATION: Flu vaccination has been shown to reduce the risk of flu-associated hospitalization.
MILDER SYMPTOMS: If you do get sick with the flu, your symptoms may be milder if you got the vaccination
HERD IMMUNITY: By getting vaccinated, you also protect those who can’t get vaccinated from catching the flu.
ANNUAL UPDATES: flu strains evolve every year, so the flu shot undergoes annual updates to target the most current strains. It’s important to get vaccinated every year, as the flu virus mutates over time, creating different strains. The sooner you get the flu shot, the better your body can build immunity against the flu.
As the weather continues to change and we enter into flu season, remember to take preventative measures to keep yourselves and others around you healthy. Keep in mind others are dependent on your ability to come to work and perform safely and proficiently. Be courteous to coworkers by helping prevent the spread of germs and viruses at work. Have a happy holiday season!

B. If you find the soup is too thick for your preference, feel free to add more chicken broth as needed.
C. Refrigerate soup in an airtight container for up to four days. chicken soup or broth goes bad quicker than cooked chicken itself.
