DRESSING

Grandma’s DRESSING Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

Martha White Buttermilk Cornbread Mix (1-2 packages)

Sausage with Sage (if you can’t find any, buy sage spice and add when browning the sausage)

Boiled Eggs (3-6)

Boneless & Skinless Chicken Breasts (2-4)

Chicken Broth (from boiling the breasts)

Pepperidge Farms Herb Seasoned Stuffing Mix (1-2 [BLUE] bags)

Celery

Onion

Salt & Pepper

DIRECTIONS:

Boil the eggs, let cool & chop up. Make the cornbread, cool & crumble up. Chop up the celery & onions, saute until soft. Brown the sausage & drain {add 2-3 TBSP of sage seasoning while browning if using regular sausage}. Boil chicken breasts, cool & shred {KEEP THE BROTH}. Mix eggs, cornbread, celery, onions, sausage, chicken breasts & Pepperidge Farms Herbs Seasoned Stuffing Mix together. Stir. Add broth from chicken, stirring every so often. You can make it thick or soupy. Add salt & pepper if you choose. Stir again. Bake on 350 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour.

Enjoy!
