A CDL Delivery Driver is responsible for executing job assignments in the most efficient, safest, and most professional way possible. We must work together as a team to achieve our goals.
• Keep truck clean inside and out.
• Drives truck in a safe manner at all times, always wearing safety belt.
• Drives truck to jobs and successfully completes duties in a professional & timely manner.
• Receives orders in a professional manner.
• Properly gauge tanks.
• Complete work tickets, checking for correct customer name and information, filling out correct gauges and times for all work done.
• Warn mechanics when truck is 1000 miles away from service being due.
• Fill out log forms daily and submit to appropriate party.
• Report maintenance problems to mechanics.
• Follow all safety regulations, policies, and precautions established by company.
• Wear all required and necessary Personal Protective Equipment.
• Help with maintenance of truck and equipment i.e. (greasing, keeping fluids full, small repairs, etc.)
• Adhere to company policies and work requirements.
• Must hold a Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Must have the ability and energy to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have acceptable driving record.
• Must be drug and alcohol free.
• Must have a phone that can reach you at all times, day or night.
• Must be available to work long hours, including weekends and holidays, when needed.
• Must have the ability to work in all types of weather.
• Must be able to report to work at all times on short notice.
• Must have the willingness & patience to help others.
• Must have exceptionable communication skills.
• Must be flexible and have the ability to create and adapt to change.
• Must place primary importance on delivering superior team member and customer service.
• Must have the ability to exercise independent judgment and basic reasoning skills.
• MUST be organized, punctual, and flexible.
• Must have flexibility, willingness, and patience in helping the company perform necessary functions of work that overall help the company succeed.
• Must be accurate with the completion of all paperwork assigned daily, including ticket organization, logbooks, pre & post trip forms, spill reports, stuck reports, etc.
• Must be prompt with all paperwork that is to be turned in daily, including tickets, logs, pre & post trip forms, spill reports, stuck reports, etc.
• Must be consistently on time to work and reliable on your scheduled days to work.
• Must check and document daily inventory of fittings and tools assigned to you that allows your job to be performed correctly.
• MUST strive for a zero incident/accident culture daily.
• Must operate equipment with utmost respect and be conscious of fuel, leaks, service needs, pump issues, etc.
• Must have clear and concise communication to management.
• Must carry a excellent attitude, no matter the circumstances.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to push up to 60 lbs.
• Must be able to pull up to 150 lbs.
• Must be able to kneel, squat, climb ladders and/or stairs.
