Description
Candidate is responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Must follow ALL OSHA, company, and job site safety rules
- Operate various pieces of large equipment (dozer, grader, front-end loader, and other related equipment)
- Ensure proper operation of equipment by performing regular checks on their functionality
- Operate the equipment in the right direction and angles to prevent accidents and damage of property
- Ensure and manage the equipment in a safe and secure way
- Inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and refilling equipment
- Commit to the overall safety of the work environment by always taking extra precautions to work with the utmost care and consideration
- Perform other duties when assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with heavy equipment
- Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standards
- Candidate must maintain a good driving record and hold a current State issued Driver’s License
- Possess physical strength to operate heavy and power-driven equipment
- A keen eye to details and good decision making skills
- Work independently with minimum supervision
- Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays if Needed
- Must be able to work well with others
- Must be able to work in all types of environments, including inclement weather
- Must have good communication skills (verbally and written)
