Candidate is responsible for overseeing the safe erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards by planning work, inspecting materials, and conducting risk assessments to maintain the stability and integrity of the scaffolding throughout the project.
Responsibilities
- Must follow ALL OSHA, company and jobsite safety rules
- Must be able to conduct regular safety inspections of scaffolding structures and components
- Must be able to identify and address potential hazards
- Must be able to report project progress, safety incident, and material usage.
- Must be able to provide training and guidance on proper techniques and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Must be able to thoroughly understand scaffolding systems, components, and safety regulations
- Must be able to manage and motivate a team of scaffold builders and helpers
- Must be able to perform risk assessments and create safety plans
- Must be able to coordinate, communicate and work well with project managers, site engineers, and all other team members
- Must have a strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety standards
- Must be able to work overtime, nights and weekends when needed
