Candidate is responsible for supervising scaffold construction crews, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget by coordinating materials, equipment, and labor, while also managing daily reports, safety meetings, and site-specific paperwork like work orders and permits. Key responsibilities include interpreting plans, inspecting work, training employees, communicating with clients and other trades, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations, such as OSHA standards.
• Crew Management: Lead, train, and supervise scaffold crews, ensuring they work efficiently and safely.
• Project Planning & Execution: Coordinate with project management to plan daily activities, materials, and equipment to meet project timelines and specifications.
• Safety Compliance: Conduct daily toolbox meetings, enforce safety regulations, and inspect work to ensure the site is free of hazards.
• Material & Equipment Management: Order and manage materials, tools, and equipment to maintain workflow and support daily operations.
• Site Management: Oversee work progress and site conditions, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to blueprints and project scope.
• Administrative Duties: Complete and submit accurate daily reports, time sheets, inventory records, and other necessary paperwork, including change orders and safety plans.
• Leadership: Strong ability to motivate, guide, and manage teams to achieve goals.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting scaffolding blueprints and plans.
• Safety Knowledge: Deep understanding of OSHA rules and regulations, as well as site-specific safety programs.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, project managers, and crews.
• Physical Demands: Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, reaching, and lifting 50+ pounds, often in various weather conditions.
