Description
Candidate is responsible for manipulating and shaping metal tubes, as well as operating machinery, conducting quality checks and ensure accurate measurements, in addition to meeting production goals and adhering to safety policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate and set up tube bending machines to bend metal tubing to exact specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job orders to determine the correct tube bending requirements
- To ensure that quality control standards are met and completed products meet customer specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on tube bending machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns
- Inspect completed products to ensure they meet required specifications and make adjustments as necessary
- Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the tube bending process
- Adhere to ALL OSHA, company and job site safety policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications
- Must have tube bending experience
- Must have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Must be proficient in using tube bending machinery and tools
- Must have knowledge of different types of tubing materials and their properties
- Must be able to pay attention to detail and have the ability to maintain high quality standards
- Must have strong problem-solving skills and have the ability to troubleshoot machinery and tool issues
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be able to work well with others
