Candidate is to Perform Skilled Masonry Work for Maintaining and New Construction Projects.
Responsibilities
- Must follow ALL OSHA, Company, and Job Site Safety Rules
- Must Perform Work in a Safely, Timely, and Quality Manner that Meets or Exceeds the Satisfaction of the Company
- Prepare Worksites for Concrete Footings and Assemble Concrete Forms on Specified Locations
- Bend, Form, Tie, and Install Rebar as Illustrated in Original Blueprints or Plans
- Mold Expansion Joints and Edges, using Edging Tools, Jointers, and Straightedge
- Align, Build, and Erect Different Types of Concrete Structures and Foundations
- Mix Substances or Compounds needed for Work Activities
- Spread, Level, and Smooth Concrete, using Rake, Shovel, Hand or Powered Trowel, Hand or Powered Screed, and Float
- Finish Concrete Surfaces
- Apply Sealants or other Protective Coatings
- Restore or Waterproof existing Concrete Structures by using Appropriate Compounds and Sealants
- Operate Jackhammers and Drills to Break Up Concrete or Pavement
- Must be able to Follow Instructions from Foreman/Supervisors
Qualifications
- Ability to do Physical Labor and Other Strenuous Physical Tasks
- Must be able to Lift/Carry 50lbs
- Must be Punctual and Reliable
- Must be able to Climb Multiple Flights of Stairs and Occasional Ladders
- Must be willing to Work After Hours and Weekends when needed
- Must be able to Apply Common Sense of Understanding to Carry Out Instructions in Writing and Verbal Form
- Must be able to Work Well with Others in a Team Environment and Under the Guidance of the Foreman
